Problem
1: The software does not run because the software is looking
for the 68000 floating point hardware. |
 |
Solution
1: VersaCAD 4.0 comes with two versions of the software,
VersaCAD and VersaCAD II. The VersaCAD II version will only
run on Mac computers that have a 68000 floating point coprocessor.
Remove the software and load the VersaCAD version (not II).
This version will run on any Mac including PowerMacs. |
 |
Problem
2: I run VersaCAD and the program dies with an Error (usually
Error 15). |
 |
Solution
2: VersaCAD needs more memory to run on these computers.
Do a "Get Info" on the VersaCAD program and increase
the amount of memory allocated to VersaCAD. If you have 32MB
or more set the value to 8MB. Lower values will work but it
is best to start with the higher number to make sure this was
the problem. |
 |
Problem
3: I run VersaCAD and the colors are all black or at least
very dark. |
 |
Solution
3: Most likely you have the colors on the Mac set for thousands
or higher. Lower the number of colors to 256. This setting is
set in Control Panel/Monitors. |
