Features

Built-in drawing objects include:
lines
multilines
arcs
circles
ellipses
rectangles
polygons
curves (Beziers, fillets, and free-hand sketch)
points
text

Eight built-in linestyles, plus user-definable styles
Edit any drawing object or group of objects:
move
copy
scale
rotate
mirror an image at any angle
undo
redo

Explode objects into user-specified number of pieces
Group drawing objects by common property (color, level, etc.), by type (arc, circle, etc.), by user-defined name, by enclosing in a fence, or any combination of these methods
Create drawing objects with user-definable properties:
line style
line width
line density
level/layer
plot pen number
screen color
Z-coordinate
optional grouping name

Change properties individually or globally
Place drawing objects on up to 250 levels or layers
Assign objects to locked levels so they can be displayed but not modified
Name levels using up to 10 characters
Display and modify object data:
location
length
radius
rotation
area
cross-sectional calculations (center of gravity, moment of inertia, etc.)

Save multiple drawing views by name
Geometry construction utilities for extending or trimming lines/circles/arcs to a common point, and constructing fillets, chamfers, tangent lines, isometric views and crosshatching (more than 25 patterns included)
Create parallels of lines, arcs, or circles by selecting existing line/arc/circle and specifying an offset
Save any drawing or drawing portion as a symbol, with up to 1,000 per library; retrieve by selecting its picture from a pop-up window
Symbols can be automatically cut into existing objects (such as a door into a wall) as well as scaled and rotated
Auto-dimensioning:
true linear,
angular,
radial,
diametrical
datum dimensioning
plus baseline and chain alignment, tolerances, and limits

Change size of arrowheads, markers, linewidth, and dimension offsets - in either world or paper coordinates
Display coordinates in absolute X-Y position, relative X-Y position, angle (decimal or degrees/ minutes/ seconds) and distance from last-entered point, bearing, and distance
Eleven built-in units of measure, plus user-definable units
User-definable X-Y grids
Snap modes:
lock objects to grid intersections
 user-defined spacing increments
pre-set object points
object surfaces
object intersections
